Philosophy of practice is the first thing that a prospective patient should find out. It should come before questions such as How much? and How far away? It is the foundation for your practitioner’s work. It is the foundation to how you will be treated.

Philosophy guides principles and techniques. Philosophy creates underlying reasons.
You must find out how your doctor thinks before he works on you.
The basis of Dr. Kundel’s practice is Your mouth is connected to your body so it should be treated as such.
Holistic means whole. To be treated holistically is to be made whole/complete. Word holistic takes its origin from kailo. From kailo words such as health and healer are also derived.
Tenants of Holistic Dentistry
1. Tooth is an organ. It has blood and nerve supply just like liver or brain.
2. The same blood that feeds our brain feeds our teeth.
3. Tooth is not a piece of jewelry or an ornament.
4. What you don t know may kill you.
5. Your mouth is connected to your body so it should be treated as such.
6. It is important what you think and feel.
